Karina Ngo ’24
Karina Ngo is a first-year Pre-Political Science major from San Francisco, CA. Prior to coming to UCLA, Karina was editor-in-chief of her school’s newspaper and magazine and captain of her school’s dragon boat team while actively training 6 days a week in classical ballet. She hopes to continue her passions of writing, sport, and dance while in college as well as explore other activities to prepare for a career as a lawyer. With aspirations including shaping public policy and advocating for marginalized communities, Karina plans to focus her studies on systems of government and politics, how they can be impacted by race and class divisions as well as solutions to these prevalent issues.
Karina is beyond thrilled to be an Ehrlich scholar and to join a community of accomplished and driven women.
Having always found purpose in a life dedicated to public service, she knows the great responsibility on her shoulders to carry on the legacy of Norma Ehrlich and is excited to pursue this journey with her fellow Ehrlich scholars.
