Linda Quan Guo ’08

Linda Quan Guo graduated from UCLA in 2008 with a degree in psychobiology. She then continued her graduate studies at the UCSF School of Pharmacy for her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Linda completed a postgraduate year 1 pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLA). While at VAGLA, she created the women’s health clinical pharmacy program and was one of the driving forces in developing an interdisciplinary gender affirming care team. She has given numerous pharmacology lectures to medical residents and fellows in the UCLA Endocrinology Fellowship Program. Currently, Linda continues her clinical practice at VAGLA in gender affirming care; prescribing gender affirming medications and coordinating care for our veterans. She also serves as a pharmacy education program manager directly involved in training residents, students, and healthcare staff.

For Linda, being a first generation college student, receiving the Norma J Ehrlich Alumni Scholarship made higher education possible. It gave her the financial ability to explore her interests at UCLA and pursue a graduate degree. Throughout the years, Craig Ehrlich has provided mentorship and a support system consisting of passionate scholars who continue to motivate and inspire Linda to this day. Her fondest memories were Ehrlich scholar “family” dinners laughing and chatting about life, career, and anything under the sun.
